QLS is committed to sustainability and the reduction of our carbon footprint. Our fleet includes the latest Freightliner Cascadia electric tractors. Our innovative multi-temp trailers can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 50%, showcasing our dedication to environmental responsibility. Additionally, we recycle engine and transmission fluids, brake rotors, tire rims, and other metal parts, and utilize solar battery charging systems. QLS has a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) baseline that aims to continually meet Science-Based Targets Initiative guidelines.

    • CARB Compliant

    • Certified Clean Idle

    • Recycle all Engine and Transmission fluids

    • Brake Rotors, Tire Rims and other metal parts are recycled

    • Tractor and Trailer tires are recycled

    • Solar Battery charging system on Trailer Reefer

    • Trailer electrical shore power connection, reduces diesel engine running hours and emissions

    • All trailers equipped with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). Maintains proper tire inflation, reduces excess tire wear and improved mileage performance

    • Aero Dynamic Trailer Side Skirts – improved mileage performance

    • Tractors equipped with APU (Auxiliary Power Unit).  This allows tractor engine to be turned off and when the APU is activated, it provides electrical, heating and cooling capabilities with reduced overall emissions

  • As a proud SmartWay partner, QLS leverages a comprehensive suite of peer-reviewed tools provided by SmartWay for sustainability accounting and tracking. These tools enable us to make informed freight transportation choices, aligning with our commitment to environmental stewardship. By measuring, benchmarking, and reporting emissions, we continually enhance our freight efficiency and overall environmental performance. Partnering with SmartWay allows QLS to maintain high standards in our supply chain, ensuring we contribute positively to sustainability efforts.
